About Sandra Franco, APRN, FNP-C
Sandra Franco, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over twenty years of experience in emergency room care with specialty experience in interventional cardiology, peripheral interventions, nuclear stress testing and interventional radiology. She received her Education Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas.
Prior to joining The Austin Diagnostic Clinic, Ms. Franco worked independently as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the CVS Minute Clinic in Lakeway, Texas and at Gilcrease Medical Group in Kyle, Texas providing care for patients with an array of chronic and acute health conditions. She has also worked as a Registered Nurse in the Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Lab and the Advanced Congestive Heart Failure Clinic at St. David’s Medical Center.
Ms. Franco is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a Registered Nurse. Her professional affiliations include past membership in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as well as The Hill Country Nurse Practitioners Association. She is a dedicated patient advocate who believes in empowering patients by delivering health education and nursing care that enhances wellness and quality.In her free time, Ms. Franco enjoys gardening in her yard, spending time with family and friends and playing tennis.
