About

Dr. Gerdelman attended Rice University for her undergraduate degree. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Galveston. She then went on to complete an internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN and her residency through the Austin Medical Education Program of Seton Healthcare Network at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, TX.

Dr. Gerdelman is board certified in Family Medicine. She provides ongoing, comprehensive care for patients in all stages of life from early childhood to late adulthood. She cares for patients with a variety of chronic medical illness from Diabetes and Hypertension to Anxiety and Depression. She has a special interest in Preventative Care: preventing illness and disease through age-appropriate screening, immunizations and health counseling. She performs Annual Physicals, Well Woman Exams and Well Child Visits.

Dr. Gerdelman provides Evidence-Based medical care in accordance with the most recent medical guidelines. She believes that she can provide the best medical care by establishing a long-term relationship with her patients and their families. She enjoys partnering with her patients to help them meet their healthcare goals.

Dr. Gerdelman lives in Austin with her husband and three children. She enjoys spending time with her family outdoors. She likes hiking, kayaking and reading.
