About Kathy Ramirez, CPNP

Kathy Ramirez received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2000. Her journey with the Austin Diagnostic Clinic started in 2001 in pediatrics as a Registered Nurse, then as Clinical Manager. She went back to graduate school and received her Master's in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin in 2012. After practicing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the greater Austin area for more than six years, she returned to the ADC family in 2018. As a pediatric provider, she believes that it is a privilege to take care of children and their families. Furthermore, she is passionate about providing excellent family-focused, evidence-based care. Her training and extensive background in primary care pediatrics enable her to make diagnoses, order and interpret labs, imaging and other diagnostic tests and develop family-centered treatment plans, including writing necessary prescriptions. She is fluent in Vietnamese and has some basic medical Spanish.
