About
Dr. Ilangovan was inspired to become a doctor in college, and the decision was largely driven by values instilled by her family. Her father is a physician and her initial inspiration. Being able to help people regardless of circumstances and helping them to lead healthier lives makes practicing endocrinology a very fulfilling job and her passion.
Dr. Ilangovan values her patients and being able to share their health journey with them. Her approach to patient care is very individualized. She takes pride in providing a very personalized treatment plan for her patients, and treating them as if they were her own family. She chose to join Austin Diagnostic Clinic (ADC) for their mission, work culture, work-life balance and opportunities to grow within the organization.
Austin is a special place for Dr. Ilangovan and she is excited to care for the community - she and her husband are both UT graduates. Outside of work, Dr. Ilangovan enjoys abstract painting, crocheting and spending time with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys exploring the great food, live music, and hiking that Austin has to offer.
