About
Pratima Kamada is a nephrologist in Austin and her areas of interest include glomerular diseases, chronic kidney disease, kidney transplantation and home dialysis.
Dr. Kamada received her medical degree from the NTR University of Health Sciences in Vijayawada, India. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at U.T. Southwestern in Austin and her fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Dr. Kamada is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Nephrology.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and baking with my kids and reading thrillers. She also has been learning the Indian classical dance 'Kuchipudi' for the past 3 years.
