Jesslyn Lu, MD

About

Jesslyn Lu, MD is a board-certified endocrinologist. She is an Austin native and a second-generation physician inspired by her mother to pursue medicine. She graduated from Westwood High School, majored in the Plan II Honors Program at the University of Texas at Austin and completed medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She continued her training there completing her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology. Dr. Lu is an Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society member, 2020 alumna of the TMA Leadership College and has repeatedly been recognized as a Super Doctor ‘Rising Star’, and a ‘Top Doc’ of Austin, featured in Austin Monthly.

She feels privileged to serve the growing community in Austin and appreciates the multi-specialty aspect of ADC where she can work in tandem with other physicians in providing excellent and comprehensive patient care. She strives to take care of her patients like she would her own family members and help each person lead a healthier life. She spends most of her free time with her wonderful husband, and their four active boys and their families. She enjoys being outside, reading a good book, piano and being involved in their neighborhood, church and kid’s activities.
