Dr. Brizuela Ducharne is an experienced board certified Internist who specializes in Adult Primary Care. He obtained his medical degree from Central University of Venezuela and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York City where he was appointed Chief Medical Resident. As an Attending Physician, he served as Site Director of Ambulatory Care and Assistant Professor in Medicine for CUNY School of Medicine.
Dr. Ducharne believes in prevention and early detection of diseases as one of the most important factors to improve overall health. He is passionate in prevention, early detection and management of cardio metabolic conditions, LGBTQIA+ care and mental health awareness. When he is not working, Dr. Ducharne loves traveling around the world, spending meaningful time with his family and reading a great book.
