Note: Dr. Ley sees patients age 4 and up, and younger on a case-by-case basis.

Dr. Ley is a fellowship trained foot and ankle surgeon. graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California, where he earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. Following graduation, he completed his surgical residency with a reconstructive rearfoot and ankle certification at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where he was also a clinical fellow in surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Ley then completed a reconstruction rearfoot and ankle fellowship with NOMS Ankle and Foot Care Center in Youngstown, Ohio. There, he received extensive training on complex surgical reconstruction of the foot and ankle, including total ankle replacements, external fixation and limb salvage reconstruction.

Dr. Ley is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He has received training in a large hospital setting, a multi-specialty group, and has contributed to research studies and scholarly publications on various topics in podiatry. Dr. Ley has been recognized as a 2024 ‘Top Doc’ of Austin, featured in Austin monthly.

Dr. Ley enjoys volunteering and serving his community. He has worked with Operation Footprint as part of a podo-pediatric surgical medical mission in Honduras.
