Dr. Jonathan Heckart is a board-certified endocrinologist who graduated from fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed medical school at the Lincoln Memorial Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and was Chief Resident at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
Dr. Heckart places a great emphasis on patient education and empowerment. By fostering open communication and providing clear, understandable explanations, he strives to turn confusing and complicated diagnoses into correctable problems with clear solutions. He is committed to forming long-term relationships with his patients and formulating treatment plans specific to every patient’s individual needs.
Dr. Heckart lives in Salado with his wife and their Goldendoodle. In their free time they enjoy hiking outdoors, golf, and exploring Texas communities.
