Dr. Saenz wanted to be a pediatrician ever since he was in elementary school when he loved to play doctor with his stuffed animals. He wanted to help other children grow up to the top of their potential. For his first nine years of practice, he practiced in a smaller town where he was able to practice the full scope of pediatrics because there were no pediatric subspecialists. He was Chairperson of Pediatrics for College Station Medical Center for 6 years. He would attend deliveries, resuscitate newborns, and took care of babies in the NICU and PICU. During this time he also taught medical students and was a Team Physician for the Texas A&M University Athletic Department from 2003-2011. He covered the NCAA Division I National Championships for Swimming and Diving, Tennis and Indoor Track and Field. After that, he worked as a Pediatric ER physician at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth for over five years. He provides compassionate and comprehensive care to children of all ages, from birth through college.

Dr. Saenz earned his medical degree from the Texas A&M University Health Science Center in College Station and Temple, TX. He went on to complete his pediatrics internship and residency at The University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, SC. He is board certified in Pediatrics.
