COVID-19 testing

ADC Cedar Bend in North Austin and ADC Circle C in Southwest Austin now offer COVID-19 Testing. For an appointment, call (512) 901-1111. Tests are available for those with or without symptoms.

Step one:

New patients need to call us for a quick telehealth screening appointment with an ADC provider. Call (512) 901-1111 to schedule, appointments are available Monday-Friday until 8:00am-8:00pm and 9:00am-5:00pm on the weekends/holidays.

Step two:

After the virtual appointment, you will be instructed to visit one of our two drive-up testing sites. Our staff will meet you in the designated areas of the practice parking lot, look for the designated parking spots. There you will be asked a few questions and the test is a simple nasal swab. Your results will be ready within minutes. You may choose to remain in your vehicle on-site, to wait for the results, or we can send you the results electronically through your patient portal. Please note, if the test is negative, your provider may send your test out for further evaluation to an independent lab. If this is the case, results may take 5 - 10 days.

If a patient arrives at the drive-up testing site without having a telemedicine visit beforehand, they will be asked to call (512) 901-1111 to setup a telemedicine visit, which is often available within hours.

Costs

We bill insurance for the COVID-19 test and most insurance companies are either completely covering the cost or only require a copay. For patients who do not have insurance we offer an uninsured discount.
